Position Description
Nature of Work:
The Facilities and Event Manager works under the supervision of the Executive Director. The facilities manager is responsible for the daily activities that are required to run, maintain, and service the facility and/or events.

Oversees the facility operations of the Price LeBlanc PACE Center; ensures policies and procedures are followed; greets the public and works with parties using the facility; provides information on services and spaces available.
• Assist in directing, supervising, and scheduling all aspects of operations
• Develop project lists and event orders
• Coordinate the operations activities with other facility departments and show-related contractors
• Oversees all required facilities, room set up, equipment and technical support. This includes directing staff, vendors, contractors and services, assisting guests and ensuring the event runs smoothly. Helps with set up, supervises decoration and preparation to ensure compliance with Center policies, and processes orders
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve operational problems and complaints
• Assure facility readiness and smooth operation of events
• Oversee maintenance of the physical plan, systems, equipment, and vehicles
• Provide on-site guidance during events for customers
• Prior experience with large scale event planning, such as convention/conference event planning is highly desired
• Familiarity with theater lighting, sound, curtains and support systems required
• Any other duties assigned
